People we contact about our services

We contact public-sector teams using the work contact details they publish, for example on consultation pages. We keep the address, the organisation and the consultation it relates to, and a record of what we sent. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in offering a relevant service to public bodies. Reply "no thanks" or email hello@everyresponse.co.uk and we will stop, keeping only a record that you asked us to.

Data our clients send us

When a council or public body sends us consultation responses, it is the controller and we act as its processor under a written data processing agreement. We remove personal details before analysis, use the data only to produce the client's report, and delete it once the report is accepted, unless the client asks us to keep it for longer.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it by emailing hello@everyresponse.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
